Once again we visit the tiny world through a macro lens. These three water drops on the petals of a Gerbera Daisy are each showing very different flower reflections, which makes it fun to look at the details.

Wow! How wonderful! You have captured those drops of water and the reflections so perfectly, Angela!

Wow this looks incredible! You have such a good eye. I’ve been looking for a macro lens to take photos of insects. I was wondering if you have any recommendations?

Thanks! I’ve only used the one I own, which is a Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro lens. I love it and it is my favorite lens to use, but the major downfall is that it doesn’t have image stabilizing like most of their lens do. It’s not a deal breaker, but it is definitely something to take into consideration especially if you are going to use of for shots where you can’t easily use a tripod. I can still take decent outdoor shots without a tripod, but that IS sure would be nice. Other than that, I really don’t have any complaints about it.
