      1. I had a cat that I loved. After about 15 years he died of old age. That was nearly 20 years ago. I never could allow myself to love another cat, because I loved him so much. Our dogs are getting older and I thought it might be nice to love a cat again. 😊 So, I started looking around. I just fell I love with the Maine Coon breed. I just didn’t realize it would be so hard to find one in our area. They are quite expensively without shipping fees, and some won’t ship. If you have any contacts, please share. I promise to provide a good home.

      2. I wish I could help, but I was lucky with both of my Maine Coons. The first one we found at a Humane Society and the second one we got for free at our veterinarian’s office. So, I’ve never had to go through a breeder, but I would consider it in the future. They are such a beautiful, gentle and intelligent breed. And, sorry for the loss of your first cat. I know how that feels. One of my cats and constant companion just died this week at the age of 14. It is a devastating loss. But, I feel blessed to be able to have a pet I loved so much.

      3. Our oldest cat is Meow (15 years) and our youngest is Trixie (4 years). My cat that just died was named Paisley. Today we went to the humane society to see if I can find a kitten for myself (because I’m the type that immediately needs another cat lol), and we found a kitten that we adopted. I think her name will be Lucy.
